As the new Director of Research and Interpretation you will work with colleagues to create an overarching vision for this division, which would include the existing strategy for Research and developing the strategy for interpretation resources for Tate’s artistic programmes. You will lead and manage the Research and Interpretation team members and work closely with internal and external collaborators to deliver our ambition to create a thriving research community and offer best practice interpretation at Tate.
You will have substantial experience in and proven commitment to delivering excellence and innovation in research with an understanding of the requirements, challenges and opportunities relating to gallery interpretation. You will bring outstanding people management skills, with proven experience in leading teams as well as in delivering successful cross-organisational projects, with strategic leadership and change management experience.
