The Director of Programmes is a new role and part of the Senior Leadership Team which will provide leadership and strategic direction for all of Arts Emergency’s programmes, projects and delivery partnerships.
Your role will be to make ambitious plans for the future direction and development of our programmes, projects and delivery partnerships while ensuring high quality, person focussed, asset-based and sustainable services for young people.
You will be a creative thinker with an understanding of issues affecting young people, and a genuine passion for developing high quality programmes that achieve meaningful outcomes.
You will have substantial experience of running programmes at a national level, working collaboratively, and always take a creative and proactive approach to developing and deepening impact.
You will have a track record of working with fundraisers to secure grant funding for projects, as well as experience of leading on corporate and delivery partnerships. You will also have experience of working on the frontline in a service delivery environment and be ready and willing to step in and support a small and busy team when required.
You will be passionate about building and developing strong teams, and will develop and implement ambitious plans for scaling our programmes by making best use of our large community of young people and wider national network of volunteers and organisations across the Arts, Humanities and in the Cultural and Creative Industries.
The appointee will have the choice to work remotely, from the London or Manchester office, or a hybrid of both.
