Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of a passionate team, this role as a Programming & Partnerships Officer plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service across two properties.
Salary: £17,721pa for part time 30 hours per week
Hours: Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern; however, it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible and discuss this with you.
We’re ideally looking for someone to work during our core hours of 9am-5pm which will include bank holidays, school holidays, weekends and to include some evening shifts; to be discussed at interview.
Contract: 2 years fixed term role

What it’s like to work here
Formby is a highly designated and much-loved coastal site, which welcomes around 1.16 million visitors annually. It’s not without its challenges and we are always looking at the best ways to manage this site for nature and people too.
You’ll also work across the portfolio at Rufford Old Hall, a Tudor mansion in Ormskirk home to 500 years of Hesketh family history. Everyday is different in the portfolio, so all of our team are enthusiastic, flexible and able to think on their feet.
You’ll be part of the Programming & Partnerships Team, working closely with the Senior Programming & Partnerships Officer (the Line Manager for this role). You’ll be part of the operational team working across the two places, plus many volunteer colleagues too. You will also work alongside the wider property team consisting of our Ranger, Facilities, Welcome and Food & Beverage Teams.
What you’ll be doing
As the largest conservation charity in Europe we work hard to raise funds, so that we can continue to care for all the heritage in our trust. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service and experience to all our visitors, every day. As a Programming & Partnerships Officer, it’s your role to ensure that the experience our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivery of programming and building partnerships within the community. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place you’ll work with the operational teams to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.
You’ll deliver high standards of presentation across the properties and ensure all communications with our visitors are clear and consistent.
You’ll be required to drive vehicles including vans and 4x4s to successfully deliver events onsite. Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
