Responsibilities
Execute Art Prize Programs
- Lead the annual art prize programs with guidance from Programme and Operation Consultants.
Budget and Timeline Management
- Monitor and document program budgets, timelines, and progress, providing regular reports to management.
Best Practice Research
- Conduct research on industry best practices to shape future programs.
Social Media Management
- Establish and manage social media accounts to expand community outreach and market exposure for the organization and its annual art prize.
Industry Networking
- Engage with industry leaders and influencers to secure promotional support from art schools, art NGOs, galleries, artists, curators, and collectors.
Administrative Support
- Assist in board meetings and take minutes.
- Handle daily administrative, operational, and logistical tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in creative arts and culture, communications, or cultural management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields (cultural, project and program management, public program coordination, exhibition production, etc.).
- Knowledge in contemporary art is a plus.
- Demonstrated project management and event coordination experience.
- Ability to generate analytical reports for program impact/KPI for organizational and government reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Positive “can-do” attitude.
- Basic bookkeeping and Photoshop skills are advantageous.
