Exploring Ecologies of Attention
Within human interactions, ecosystems, and the technosphere, patterns of perception shape our experiences. These patterns, influenced by assumptions and interests, may obscure significant phenomena and connections. IMPACT23 seeks methods, tools, strategies, or systems to reevaluate these patterns and foster productive relationships, challenging ingrained behaviors.
Symposium Highlights
IMPACT23 offers a platform for transdisciplinary approaches and solidarity connections that facilitate alternative ecologies of attention. We welcome suggestions and ideas rooted in artistic, social, physical, technological, and ecological practices—whether real or speculative—that illuminate complex processes.
The four-day symposium features selected contributions, complemented by keynote lectures, workshops, and artistic interventions. Details on invited speakers will be available soon.
Participation and Remuneration
Participation in IMPACT23 is open to practitioners and theorists across various fields, including performing and visual arts, science, journalism, technology, activism, social work, and architecture.
- Contribution during the Assembly: €250 remuneration.
- Travel costs and accommodation are the participant’s responsibility. We encourage environmentally friendly transportation choices.
