Role Overview
Govanhill Baths seeks a part-time Arts Manager (3 days a week) to elevate arts delivery and audience development in the local community and Southside of Glasgow. The Arts Manager will enhance collaboration with local and national arts organizations while contributing to the Baths’ transformation into a Wellbeing Centre, featuring a dedicated Heritage, Arts, and Activist Space.
Responsibilities
- Community-Focused Arts Delivery: Design and implement a program showcasing high-quality arts in a community setting, offering local residents exposure to diverse arts activities.
- Partnership Development: Strengthen connections with local arts and regeneration strategies for coordinated and sustainable services.
- Inclusivity and Diversity: Foster engagement with Communities and Peoples of Color, as well as LGBT+ Communities, promoting social cohesion and tackling inequality.
- Venue Coordination: Given the Baths’ renovation closure, focus on the Deep End, an arts space managed by Govanhill Baths.
