Overview
The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) invites festivals to support emerging artists in Europe. This initiative is a chance for festivals to help new artists establish themselves internationally.
Call for Residencies
EFFEA Call#3 aims to support around 50 residencies for 50 emerging artists at 50 leading festivals. These residencies will collaborate with at least one (Discovery category) or two partner festivals (Springboard category) each. The program offers 40 grants of €8,000 in the Discovery category and 10 grants of €15,000 in the Springboard category. Residencies should occur from 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025.

About EFFEA
EFFEA is an artist-in-residence program that fosters the international careers of emerging artists. Co-produced by a leading festival and partner festivals from eligible countries, the residency offers time, space, and support for artists. It focuses on developing new works or evolving existing ones, fostering connections between artists, festivals, and audiences.
