The National Museum of Colombia and the Museum Strengthening Program – PFM – announce scholarships, awards, residencies, and recognitions for the country’s museums, as part of the National Stimulus Program 2024 of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Knowledge.
This year, the incentives for Colombian museums aim to recognize and support innovative projects in the cultural field, peacebuilding, and social transformation. The incentives are grouped into four main areas: Culture of peace, recognition, and reconciliation; Promotion of the arts, processes, and creative practices; Memories and heritages; and Culture, good living, and care for the common good.
The museum sector has 1.2 billion pesos to enhance museological practice in the different territories of the country, in addition to the possibility of participating in other cross-cutting calls.
Remember: Proposals must be submitted between January 23 and March 5, 2024.
Proposal submission will only be done digitally, through the application https://estimulos.mincultura.gov.co
