Salary: Circa £38,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
The Producer is a central role in the team, acting as the lead line producer for commissions and events from initial development through to realization and presentation to the public. The Producing Department delivers work across all programs at Factory International, including the year-round program at Aviva Studios and Manchester International Festival. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and line produce assigned projects
- Work closely with artists/creative teams
- Manage project budgets
- Negotiate artist and project team contracts
- Coordinate with internal and external teams
- Chair internal and external meetings
- Manage Co-commission and Co-Production relationships
- Create working models for partner relationships
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Proven experience managing complex productions or projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Budget management experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- IT proficiency
- Solution-focused attitude
- Commitment to representation and inclusion
- Willingness to undergo relevant statutory checks
Desirable:
- Knowledge of delivering projects across various art forms
- Experience in working with diverse communities or artists
- Excellent team management skills
- Enthusiasm for training and mentoring emerging talent
