Position Overview
The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum in Cheltenham is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Senior Curator: Art and Exhibitions. This permanent position offers a salary of £37,000 per annum (pro rata) and can be full-time or part-time (0.8) with flexible working options.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead The Wilson’s exhibition program and share its diverse collections.
- Apply innovative curatorial approaches to enhance gallery and museum practice.
- Develop arts spaces in collaboration with the community.
- Promote a diverse, inclusive, and respectful working environment.
Requirements
- Experience in gallery and museum practices.
- Knowledge of current sector challenges and opportunities.
- Strong storytelling and creative vision for contemporary and collection galleries.
