Job Summary
A multidisciplinary artist based in central London seeks an experienced Freelance Producer for a part-time role. The position involves overseeing new commissions in the UK and internationally from start to finish, liaising with commissioners and funders, and working on Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg’s Pollinator Pathmaker project.
Job Description
- Day Rate: Approximately £180+ per day, based on experience.
- Schedule: 2-3 days per week starting mid-August 2024.
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage art commission production.
- Liaise with commissioners, funders, and partners.
- Collaborate on the Pollinator Pathmaker project.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
- Activate and communicate across partners efficiently.
- Mitigate production issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a Digital/Arts Project Manager or Producer role.
- Experience with contemporary art projects.
- Excellent strategic implementation, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, creative, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and contracts.
- Understanding of digital technologies and artwork production.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage production of digital and physical art commissions.
- Serve as the primary contact for external partners.
- Provide status updates to the studio team and partners.
- Allocate resources and assign tasks according to schedules and budgets.
- Manage production budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractors.
- Maintain project documentation and manage enquiries.
- Support sponsorship acquisition and relationship management.
