Part-time | On-location
An intern is needed to support the Special Projects team starting in September. This opportunity coincides with the Awards Week, culminating in the Awards Ceremony at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. The internship focuses on assisting with the 2024 Impact Award celebration.
Tasks
- Event Planning: Research local context, participants, schedule, and content.
- Event Execution: Contact participants about travel arrangements, create support documents and guides, and assist with logistics and operations.
- Post-Event: Handle post-event communication and evaluate activities.
Qualities and Qualifications
- Fluent English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Chinese, French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus.
- Educational Background: Studies with an international focus and cultural awareness.
- Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- Event Production Experience: Prior experience in event production is advantageous.
- Personal Attributes: Efficient, quick, resourceful, proactive, self-motivated, stress-resistant, and a team player.
- Interest Areas: Affinity for arts, culture, and social justice issues.

Duration and Compensation
The internship begins in September 2024, preferably lasting 4 months, with a minimum of 3 days a week. An allowance of €500 gross per month is provided for a 32-hour week. The allowance is adjusted for fewer working hours. Only currently enrolled students are eligible to apply.
Volunteers can also apply and receive a maximum net amount of €190 per month.
