Overview
How can art help navigate the present and envision collective futures with AI? Established in 2016, Artists + Machine Intelligence (AMI) is a forward-looking program dedicated to supporting creative practitioners working with machine learning (ML). As AI increasingly integrates into daily life, the arts and humanities play a crucial role in exploring the societal impact of these technologies.
The AMI Research Awards provide $20,000 USD in funding to higher education faculty pursuing cultural research related to ML’s influence on visual arts, architecture, design, literature, and philosophy.
