Job Overview
The Gallery Manager will lead the development and commercial success of House of Bandits, ensuring it becomes a thriving retail and cultural entity that supports both the artists and the broader mission of Sarabande.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the commercial success and strategic growth of House of Bandits.
- Secure partnerships and collaborations to enhance HOB’s offerings.
- Manage and expand the client database to ensure sustained engagement.
- Develop, update, and optimize the HOB website, focusing on SEO across all platforms.
- Cultivate relationships with collectors, art buyers, investors, and clients in fashion and jewellery.
- Oversee marketing efforts, including external, internal, and digital events.
- Promote and sell artists’ work through various channels, ensuring maximum visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with Sarabande artists to direct and oversee HOB artworks.
- Ensure the physical gallery is maintained to the highest standard with a focus on quality presentation.
- Coordinate the transportation and documentation of sold artworks, both nationally and internationally.
- Manage general administration, including reporting, budgeting, finance, and accounts related to HOB.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 2-3 years of experience in retail or art sales, with a proven track record.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creative and innovative ideas.
- Proven ability to execute projects to the highest standards.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Understanding of accounting principles and business negotiation.

- Proficiency in administrative tasks and IT, including database management.
Additional Responsibilities
The Gallery Manager will also assist with shared activities such as programming talks, exhibitions, fundraising events, and special projects.
