Drawing Room, a leading institution dedicated to contemporary drawing, is seeking a passionate Exhibitions Managerto join their team. As they move into a new permanent home, the Exhibitions Manager will play a pivotal role in managing a dynamic program of exhibitions and related public events. This role is central to delivering Drawing Room’s mission to promote and support drawing as a vital artistic practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibition Management: Oversee the delivery of a minimum of three exhibitions annually, ensuring high-quality and ambitious programming.
- Event Coordination: Organize related public programs, including talks, workshops, and community engagement initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Co-Directors to coordinate partnerships and collaborations with local and international artists and institutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in exhibition management, ideally within a contemporary art gallery or museum.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
