BO – Oslo, Norway
BO (The Association of Visual Artists Oslo) has announced an open call for exhibition proposals for their 2026 program. Professional artists, artist groups, and curators, both members and non-members, are invited to apply for solo, duo, or group exhibitions. While the call is open internationally, artists with a connection to Oslo are strongly encouraged to apply.
Application Deadline: November 1, 2024
Exhibition Terms:
- Remuneration: 25,000 NOK per exhibition (to be divided among participants in the case of group exhibitions).
- Transport Support: 2,000 NOK per exhibition.
- Curatorial & Technical Support: Available leading up to and during the installation.
- Assistance: Help with application processes for external funding.
- International Exposure: A chance to be selected for representation at an international art fair in 2025 through BOBO International, a pilot project aimed at increasing visibility of Oslo’s independent art scene globally.
Application Criteria:
- Applicants must not be students during the exhibition year.
- Exhibition Form: Must be completed.
- Description of Artistic Practice: (Max 1,000 characters).
- Exhibition Proposal: (Max 1,000 characters).
- Artistic Résumé: (Max 2 pages).
- Portfolio: (Max 10 pages), including process images related to the proposal if possible.
- All documents should be combined into a single PDF, named as: LAST NAME_FIRST NAME_YEAR (e.g., Normann_Kari_2025.pdf).
Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be reviewed.
