About the Role:
This 12-month maternity cover role involves managing current and future exhibition programs at Tate St Ives. Responsibilities include research, collaboration with stakeholders, project management, and overseeing the Assistant Curator, Exhibitions and Displays.
Key Duties:
- Delivering exhibitions, including a Spring 2026 solo modernist artist exhibition and Spring 2027’s Queer St Ives.
- Coordinating displays at Palais de Danse and contributing to the National Heritage Lottery Fund applications.
- Supervising budgets and logistics, overseeing interns, and fostering local partnerships.
Candidate Requirements:
- A postgraduate degree in art history or a related field with significant curatorial experience.
- Strong budget management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern and contemporary art, with a focus on British and international works.
