Location: The Hague, Netherlands
Page Not Found, a vibrant contemporary visual arts organisation based in The Hague dedicated to exploring and celebrating artistic publishing as an inclusive, transformative medium, is seeking passionate individuals to join our team. We currently have three vacancies:
Office Manager
- Hours: 19 hours per week (on location)
- Compensation: €27.19 per hour (excluding 21% VAT)
- Contract: Freelance, with a transition to a salaried position by 2026
- Responsibilities:
- Manage book orders, shipping logistics, and consignment contracts.
- Oversee the organisation, shelving, and cleanliness of the space; maintain inventory and stock.
- Organise and schedule meetings, manage office supplies, and handle general administrative tasks.
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and training; act as the main liaison between volunteers and directors.
- Handle financial administration and bookkeeping, including cash counting, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Support directors by compiling data for funding reports and grant applications.
- Ideal Candidate:
- At least two years’ experience in arts administration or similar roles.
- Strong organisational and financial administration skills; fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Preferably based in or near The Hague.
Art Mediator
- Hours: 19 hours per week (on location)
- Compensation: €27.19 per hour (excluding 21% VAT)
- Contract: Freelance, transitioning to salaried by 2026
- Responsibilities:
- Organise and lead guided tours for visitors, volunteers, and special groups during exhibitions.
- Adapt tours for diverse audiences and train volunteers in delivering engaging, confident tours.
- Write accessible content and develop educational material (including video content) that explains the mission, exhibitions, and programmes of Page Not Found.
- Enhance the practical accessibility of the space, website, and educational materials.
- Advise on inclusive programming and engage in public research and feedback to continuously improve visitor experience.
- Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum two years’ experience in roles like art education, mediation, or outreach.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent communication in both English and Dutch.
- Passionate about accessibility, diversity, and public engagement.
Production Assistant
- Hours: 30 hours per week (on location)
- Compensation: €23.51 per hour (excluding 21% VAT)
- Contract: Freelance, with plans to transition to salaried by 2026
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with artists regarding production needs, contracts, and participation in Page Not Found activities.
- Manage shipments, insurance, customs, and condition reporting for artworks and equipment.
- Assist with loan documentation and organize travel and accommodation for artists.
- Source and arrange equipment and materials for activities, and handle technical production support.
- Provide on-site support during events, assist with troubleshooting technical issues, and manage storage of materials and artworks.
- Oversee book and print production processes, liaising with printers and managing logistics.
- Ideal Candidate:
- At least two years’ experience in production, event coordination, or a related field.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong technical and logistical skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
- Preferably based in The Hague or nearby.
