NESSIJ

Nessij (“web” in Arabic) is a collective founded in 2023 by Tunisian artists and art-workers to support and promote Tunisia’s artistic and cultural scene internationally. In a climate of creative effervescence and increasingly restrictive borders, Nessij works to improve the mobility of Tunisian artists, works and cultural professionals, and to strengthen exchanges and solidarity between southern artistic scenes.

DARET

Founded in 2021 by artist Ymane Fakhir, Daret is a non-profit artist residency in Casablanca that offers an apartment-studio where living and working spaces are one. It runs two residencies:

ARTAGON MARSEILLE

Housed in a former nursery school (2 000 m²) provided by the City of Marseille in the Saint-Tronc district, Artagon Marseille is a work, production and resource centre for emerging creative practices. Its main purpose is to support early-career artists and cultural professionals based in Marseille or the region across all creative fields. Since April 2024 the site has hosted a cohort of around 30 artists, organisations and cultural project leaders, who receive 12 months of support and take part in the venue’s activities.
