Tate is seeking a Research Convenor to lead the strategic implementation of research dissemination and development across the institution. The post-holder will manage the Research Dissemination team and oversee the planning, communication, and delivery of research initiatives aligned with Tate’s institutional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and policy implementation in Research Development and Dissemination.
- Oversee planning and evaluation processes across teams.
- Develop strong internal and external partnerships to foster innovative research.
- Manage team development, HR, and budgets.
- Represent Tate in national and international research forums.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven leadership in research publishing and/or research development, ideally in museum settings.
- Strong editorial and writing skills with deep knowledge of visual arts research.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Demonstrable understanding of research ethics, governance, and institutional strategy.
- A Master’s degree in art or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
