Tate is seeking a Research Convenor to lead the strategic implementation of research dissemination and development across the institution. The post-holder will manage the Research Dissemination team and oversee the planning, communication, and delivery of research initiatives aligned with Tate’s institutional strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and policy implementation in Research Development and Dissemination.
Oversee planning and evaluation processes across teams.
Develop strong internal and external partnerships to foster innovative research.
Manage team development, HR, and budgets.
Represent Tate in national and international research forums.

Candidate Requirements

Proven leadership in research publishing and/or research development, ideally in museum settings.
Strong editorial and writing skills with deep knowledge of visual arts research.
Experience managing teams, budgets, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Demonstrable understanding of research ethics, governance, and institutional strategy.
A Master’s degree in art or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
