The British Museum seeks a Head of Digital Learning Programmes to lead the conception, development, and delivery of innovative digital content and projects within its learning programmes. The role emphasizes creating a new digital strand for schools’ programmes to increase engagement beyond Bloomsbury, partnering with schools and regional museums.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a fresh digital learning programme aligned with the Museum’s vision
- Develop and implement a digital strand strategy for schools’ programmes, extending reach across the UK
- Manage commissioning of new digital learning content, collaborating with Schools and Curatorial teams
- Advise and collaborate with leadership and the Digital Advisory Group on strategic partnerships
- Deliver high-quality, diverse, and engaging digital learning products and content
- Oversee development and review of existing digital learning resources with technical teams
- Manage projects to meet strategic goals, budget, and deadlines, coordinating external partners
Candidate Profile
- Relevant degree and experience managing online learning development
- Skilled in ideation, delivery, and management of complex digital projects and programmes
