Job Title: Curator
Contract Type: Fixed term 18-month contract
Hours and place of work: : 3 days a week (21 hours per week, inclusive of lunch breaks). We have a flexible approach to working from home and a time off in lieu policy. The role would ideally work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, but we can be flexible to support other care, study, project or creative practice schedules. The role will require working occasional evenings and Saturdays.
Salary: £32,000 per annum pro rata £19,200

Role Purpose
The main purpose of the role of Curator at Peer is to work closely with the Director of Peer to administratively and curatorially support on all aspects of Peer’s artistic and learning programmes of exhibitions, artist commissions, talks, events and workshops, to ensure Peer’s programming and opportunities are accessible and inclusive to audiences and participants.
With an interest in working at the intersection of art, social justice, and community organising the post holder will have experience working with artists and communities.
The postholder provides key administrative and logistical support to the Director. The Curator is managed by the Director, and works alongside the Operations Manager, Curator: Ambassadors Programme, Gallery and Communications Assistant, Peer Ambassadors and gallery technicians.
