Wellcome Collection, a free museum and library exploring health and human experience, is seeking a Curator to join its Curatorial and Public Practice department. The role involves developing and delivering interdisciplinary exhibitions and artist commissions that address complex subjects in accessible and inclusive ways, contributing to Wellcome’s new ten-year strategy focused on health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the research, planning, and delivery of temporary exhibitions and displays
- Develop interdisciplinary projects that explore health in cultural, social, historical, and personal contexts
- Contribute to Wellcome Collection’s curatorial strategy and audience engagement
- Act as an advocate and public representative for the exhibitions programme
- Promote inclusive, sustainable, and accessible exhibition-making practices
Minimum Criteria
- Experience developing compelling and accessible programming for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with artists and stakeholders across disciplines
- Knowledge of exhibition production processes, including design, loans, and marketing
- Understanding of access, inclusion, and sustainability in curatorial practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in public representation
