Wellcome Collection, a free museum and library exploring health and human experience, seeks a Curator to join its Curatorial and Public Practice department. The role involves leading and delivering interdisciplinary temporary exhibitions and artist commissions that explore the past, present, and future of health in social, cultural, historical, and personal contexts.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the research, planning, and delivery of temporary exhibitions and displays.

Develop compelling programming that engages diverse audiences.

Collaborate with artists, scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to produce inclusive exhibitions.

Contribute to Wellcome Collection’s curatorial strategy.

Act as a public spokesperson for exhibitions and the institution.
Eligibility Criteria / Required Skills

Experience developing accessible and engaging programming for multiple audiences.

Proven ability to work inclusively with artists and stakeholders.

Knowledge of exhibition production including research, design, loans, marketing, and promotion.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Awareness of best practice in access, inclusion, and sustainability in museum practice.

Knowledge of contemporary artistic and scientific trends and critically engaged curatorial practice.
