Ocula is seeking an Editorial Assistant to join its team in London as the magazine relaunches under a new Editor-in-Chief. Ocula is an international contemporary art platform connecting collectors, galleries, and institutions, with a strong Asia Pacific presence and expanding global readership.
This junior-level position is suited to an early-career professional with experience in a digital-first journalism environment. The role combines editorial, administrative, and production responsibilities within a fast-paced art media context.
Role Responsibilities

Maintain editorial calendars and exhibition diaries

Assist with digital production schedules

Conduct image research, licensing, and captioning

Support fact-checking processes

Upload stories to the CMS

Liaise with freelance contributors regarding invoices and biographies

Coordinate with artists, galleries, and PR contacts

Attend editorial meetings and update workflows

Pitch and write news pieces, features, and exhibition previews

Monitor key developments in the international art world
Profile & Skills
