About the Role
LUX Scotland is seeking an experienced project manager to join the organisation as Learning Programme Manager.
The successful candidate will be passionate about LUX Scotland’s work and its commitment to supporting, developing and promoting artists’ moving image across Scotland.
The Learning Programme Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering LUX Scotland’s learning programme, which provides professional development opportunities for artists.
The Learning Programme
LUX Scotland’s learning programme includes:
- Artist-led workshops.
- Advice sessions.
- An annual weekend residential event.
- A series of online learning resources.
The Learning Programme Manager will oversee the delivery of these activities and help ensure that artists across Scotland can access meaningful opportunities for learning and professional development.
Responsibilities
The Learning Programme Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of LUX Scotland’s Learning Programme.
They will work closely with the organisation’s core team in Glasgow, which includes the Director, Public Programme Manager and two Project Managers. As part of a collaborative working environment, they will also contribute to the development of LUX Scotland’s wider organisational work.
The position includes some evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be provided.
Location and Travel
The role is based at the LUX Scotland office at Civic House, 26 Civic Street, Glasgow.
It involves travel to partner venues across Scotland to deliver learning programme events, as well as occasional travel to LUX’s London office at Waterlow Park Centre.
Hybrid working may be available upon request.

- A permanent contract with a six-month probation period.
- A 5% employer pension contribution, alongside a 3% employee contribution.
- 25 days of annual leave per year, plus statutory holidays, calculated pro rata.
- An additional day of annual leave for every year worked, up to a maximum total allowance of 30 days.
